Judo is an Olympic sport involving grappling (throws and holds). The Judo Club at Roosevelt High School teaches Judo to new and experienced judo players to prepare them for participation in tournaments with other high schools across the state. Last year, our team placed 4th at the Washington State High School/Middle School Championships!
All students are welcome – no prior experience required. Students will have an opportunity to test for promotion to a higher rank belt color at the end of the season. Interested students and family are invited to attend the February Informational meeting and demonstration in the Roosevelt High School yoga/wrestling room. Details TBD.
You MUST complete all tasks in the Registration Checklist and have a valid physical on file OR email us to request access and complete the registration checklist and documents.
