Welcome to the Golf Team!

Golf is a varsity level sport that plays their season in the Fall.  The state championships occur at the end of the spring season.  Being a competitive cut sport at Roosevelt, tryouts are typically two weeks before the start of school.  They consist of 2+ rounds of 9 holes at Jackson Park golf course.  Being able to break 50 for boys and 55 for girls will put you in a good place to make the team.

Once the season starts there will be golf 4 days of the week.  This will be a mix of practices, matches against other schools, and team tournaments.  We play all of the majors in our own special way.

How do I sign up?

Sign up for tryouts by having all your “Final Forms” paperwork completed and a valid physical on file.
